As you may or may not know, I will be heading to Southeast Asia in just 16 days. The purpose of this blog is to inform people (mostly my Mom) of my whereabouts, so that sphincters the world over can unclench. My friend Greg will be posting his own entries at PhotoYak. We hope to add maps of our locations, photos, and maybe even videos. This is all dependent upon how much time we have and the strength of our internet connection.
If you are fortunate enough to have made it onto my overseas phone book (aka my Mom), you may receive a call. Keep in mind that Vietnam is 14 hours ahead of Los Angeles. 11 hours ahead of Miami. Your phone will not show that I am calling, however. It may show a 760 area code or just a glob of 12 numbers. In any event, pick up the phone. You are one of the lucky few and should not miss this rare opportunity to hear my voice.
